CELEBRATING THE LIFE OF . . . .
Willie Lee Hearn (aka Baby Bro) was born to the union of Mondell and Leona Hearn on March 24, 1957 in Cincinnati, Ohio and transitioned to be with his heavenly Father on October 6, 2017. He entered that state of eternal rest with a smile and a look of peace.
Willie was a God fearing, humble man who lived by faith. He was kind, funny, intelligent, multi-talented, full of wisdom and he loved his family.
For the past 20 years, he lived with and served as the primary care giver for his 94 year old mother, who was his WORLD.
He will be missed by those who spent endless hours, watching him on the keyboards, being educated and entertained at the "school of higher grooves" aka in the living room on Newton Ave. He was very knowledgeable about synthesizers, keyboards, drum machines, and other electronics. His thoughts, his soul, and spirit was filled with music.
Self taught on the piano – he could pick up any instrument and would play it like he had been playing it for years – He would draw you in with melodies and musical arrangements that were literally out of this world.
Willie confessed his faith in Jesus Christ at The House of Joy under the leadership of Bishop Todd E. O'Neal and became a part of the House of Joy family.
Willie served and would teach others on the sound ministry team at HOJ, formed by his sister P. Ann in 1998 – and could be found mixing and setting up the sound and lighting for concerts at The House of Joy, The Rock Café as well as other events with his sister P. Ann and DeSaints Entertainment. Even deep frying fish for events at the Rock and heading up the cleaning detail.

Willie was preceded in death by his childhood sweetheart and wife, Debra Ann Hearn, his father, Mondell Hearn, Mother-in-law, Jessie Mae Rosser and sibling, Alexander Harris, Jr.
He is survived by his daughters: Kristina Ann Hearn, Nikki Nishell Hearn and his son, Willie Mondell Hearn (Link), grandchildren; Cierra Nicole Hearn, Kristian LeMar Hearn and Ryianna Hearn. Siblings: P. Ann (Eddie) Everson-Price, Princess Ann Hearn, Georgia Ann (Jacob) Gamble, Willia Ann (Kevin) Crenshaw and Clarence (Bessie) Campbell. A special family friend, Uncle "Rob" Hampton and a long list of other nieces, nephews, cousins, siblings, loved ones, family and friends.
