Uncle Sam was always busy and happy with whatever he was doing. He loved sports, politics, traveling, and a simple but well cooked meal. He helped inspire my interest in science and curiosity about the world. While his health declined in recent years I'll always remember him as the happy, quiet man he was.

Uncle Sam was someone who brought light to everyone who knew him. This light will remain forever after for all of us.
