Maxberry, Florine loving mother of Willie Parham Jr. (Jeanette). Passed Sunday, October 9, 2016 Age 83 years. Funeral Service on Monday, October 17, 2016 at 12:00 PM at New St. John Baptist Church, 818 S. Shuttlesworth Dr., Cincinnati, Oh 45229.. Visitation Monday, October 17, 2016 from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM at New St. John Baptist Church. Entombment at Spring Grove Cemetery, Cincinnati, Ohio. Life Story;
Florine Maxberry was born in Norwood Georgia on June 22, 1933. She was born to the union of Ed Howell Sr. & Mary (Brantly) Howell. Florine was the youngest sibling of five. Both parents preceded her in death as well as brothers Ed Sr.(Little Ed), Eddie B. and sisters Lizzie Mae and Vinnie Mae. Florine Maxberry graduated from Warrenton High School in 1950. She was baptized at an early age attending the Union Spring Baptist Church. She married Willie Parham Sr. in 1953 and from that union Willie Parham was born. After moving to Cincinnati, Ohio she married Peter Maxberry, Sr. in 1985 She joined the New St. John Baptist church and served as a faithful member until death. Florine was employed with Bethesda Hospital for over forty years. She was a very lively & loving person and enjoyed life. She was devoted to God, her family and friends. Florine Maxberry is survived by her son Willie Parham Jr.(Jeanette), 4 grandsons, Wymon Parham (Ebony), Christopher Parham (Monique), David Lewis (Monet) and Jared Lewis and three great grand children Erica, Wyiela, and Wyauna.
