Obituary for Everitt Allen Kitchen It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Everitt Allen Kitchen, who passed away May 9 at the age of 77. He was born in Carbondale, PA, son of the late Richard Kitchen and Thelma Herman Kitchen Scaramuzzo. Everitt was the beloved husband of Susan Geer Kitchen for 54 years; proud father of Bruce Kitchen (Lynn) and Bradley Kitchen (Barbara); grandfather of Nathan Kitchen, Brent Kitchen, Justin Daley and Ryan Mara (Crystal); and great grandfather of Brayden, Ily, Quinlan and Zellus Mara. He is also survived by sisters, Janet Borick (Ed), Susan Pellicano (Mike), Marion Defibaugh (Nelson); and brother, Robert Kitchen (Paulette). Everitt graduated from the Carbondale, PA high school where he was known as \"Kitch.\" He graduated from Lehigh University and then moved to Cincinnati where he worked his entire career at Procter and Gamble, retiring in 1996. Everitt enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling, bird watching, sailing and playing Bridge. A service of Memorial will be held for Everitt at Kennedy Heights Presbyterian Church, 6312 Kennedy Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45213 on Sunday, May 27 at 3:00pm. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions be made to the Kennedy Heights Presbyterian Church, 6312 Kennedy Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45213 or Oxbow, Inc.
