A loss of a compassionate man! We grew up in the same place. I served on the committee that hired him at UC.

Next to my parents, Tony was the most impactful person in my life. He was my mentor and friend. I was certainly blessed to know the Yates family and have them be a major part of my life.
My prayers are with Maxine and family. I wish I could be there, in person, to show my deep repect for Tony and the entire family.
I am glad that I took the opportunity, years ago, to tell Tony how much he meant to me. The Pittman's send their love.

Maxine and Family,
Roland and I offer our deepest sympathy to
you and the family. Tony was a mentor and good
friend to Roland over the years. We will miss him. Keeping you in our prayers.

So sorry to hear about Tony. I watched him at UC as a player and coach. He was a friend of my father, Warren (Tip) Tipton, principal at Glen Este HS and a UC alum. He will be missed.

So proud of my 2nd cousin for his accomplishments yet so humble. He took time to talk with my sons at my Dad William Yates visitation. He was an inspiration! May God give the family peace and comfort!
