What an amazing woman and life well-lived, as mirrored in her children - then, now and in the future. Praying for you all in the days ahead - for healing and for strength. Rest in peace, Pamela, you've most certainly earned it.

Prayers to the Smitherman Family. When I think of Pamela I think of a kind, dedicated, organized woman. A leader. A community member. A teacher. Pamela modeled a way to be mother, volunteer, family...she touched more than she knew. My family is blessed to have known her.

Pam, I will always remember your gentle guiding spirit when I was a new and very confused swim team mom. You were patiently guided me through my initiation and gave me confidence to help out our community. You will be missed by all who came in contact with you.

Just saw this first thing this morning. I've know Pam since grade school at Noble Elementary, in Cleveland Heights. She was always so sweet and we shared a love of reading. I got her hooked on the "Anne of Green Gables" series in 6th grade. All my thoughts and prayers are with her family during this time.

My Dear Niece, Pamela
I have so many precious memories of you! I Took you to get your ears pierced and your first pair of earrings when you came to visit me in California. You were such a precious little girl then.
I remember that I was the first family member to hold Christopher when I was in Cleveland.
I remember taking you to the ocean and telling you to hit that water back because it rolled over your little feet.
I am so
